(08.03.16) [76] Sunshine (2007, Danny Boyle) [dvd; home] ~ To Garland & Boyle, good SF doesn't need psycho killer in 3rd act ala Event Horizon. A beautiful waste. ()

(08.01.22) [56] Shoot 'Em Up (2007, Michael Davis) [dvd; home] ~ Ugh, did I not care for this movie at all. And yes, I know that's what it was supposed to be but it just wasn't it. Unbelievably the best part of the movie was the most ridiculous part of the movie namely the sky-diving gunfight. Monica Belluci looked almost bad and a Paul Giamatti character annoyed me for the first time that I can ever recall. The Man Who Whould be Bond deserved a lot better.
(08.01.16) [79] Apocalypto (2006, Mel Gibson) [dvd; home] ~ Yes, I know Mel's a waack-job Neo-nazi but it was still a good movie.
